Props: Katherine and I will be focusing on the versatility of the Nintendo Switch, therefore we will be using a couch, chair, car, TV, adaption chord, and game cartridge.

Costume: Katherine and I will be the 2 main people in this commercial. To go with the laid-back style of Nintendo commercials, my partner and I will be wearing casual clothing. This includes but is not limited to hoodies, jeans, shorts, t-shirts, and sneakers. For hairstyles, we would either be wearing our hair down, or put up in some way like a ponytail, headbands, or an updo.

Schedule:

09/26/22: My partner and I research for our commercial by inspecting Nintendo commercials, specifically used for the Nintendo Switch.

09/28/22: Katherine and I speak of the props, sets, and costumes we will use separately, then when we are together. We also discuss a backup plan.

10/02/22: Katherine sketches out a storyboard and we discuss how we will combine our footage for the 30-second commercial.

10/03/22: Individually, we will film our individual scenes for the commercial.

10/06/22: We will film the last part of the commercial together and begin the editing process as well as the production blog.

Location List: In the beginning of our commercial, we will shoot in our homes showing us playing online together but in our individual houses. We will then show us walking out of our homes, then playing in a car, to which we will finally be shown in the schoolyard playing together. During most of the commercial, we will be shown playing with the Nintendo Switch.

Backup Plan: Due to unpredictable weather conditions, we have agreed to meet at Katherine’s house if the schoolyard turns out to be an unfit location to film. This will be the only backup location, as the rest of the locations we have chosen are not susceptible to weatherly change. If, by the odd chance that one of us gets sick of is unable to shoot together, we will change the story to show how even if people are unable to physically play together, they can play online together.
